U10L High Pressure Ultra Low Flow Back Pressure Regulator

H10P High Pressure Back Pressure Regulator

With pressure rating to 10,000 psig, the H10P back pressure regulator (BPR) is often used in Reservoir Core Analysis applications. These units are available in HIP and Speed-bite style port connections.

Back pressure regulators control their inlet pressure to regulate the upstream process by opening up only as much as necessary to hold back the desired pressure at the inlet.

    Research Series

Equilibar’s Research Series BPRs are designed to meet the demanding requirements of low flow research and high pressure reactor control applications. All Equilibar Research Series BPRs hold stable pressure across very wide flow ranges, and can handle liquids, gases, or multi-phase fluids. These products can be used with highly aggressive chemicals and can perform at temperatures up to 450C.

Equilibar Research Series units are 1:1 dome-loaded, meaning that a gas or air “pilot” pressure must be supplied to the dome of the BPR equal to the desired inlet setpoint. This pilot pressure can be supplied by a manual pressure regulator, or by an electronic pressure regulator for computer automation. For more details, please visit our “How it Works” page.

The HT regulators are part of Equilibar’s patented multi-orifice design, in which more orifices open up as needed to accommodate increasing flow requirements. This design offers the highest possible precision in multi-phase flow applications.

Please contact an Equilibar application engineer to discuss how the Equilibar product may be used in your fluid control application.
