————–This is our Holiday Greeting from 2019.————
Please Note: Equilibar offices will be closed for the holidays on Tuesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 25, as well as Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
As winter settles in here in the Appalachian Mountains, the ridgelines around Equilibar have already been dusted with snow several times. It is a beautiful sight and we feel fortunate to work in an area with an abundance of natural beauty.
We’re also grateful to work with an ever-growing community of customers and partners around the world. It’s inspiring to play a part in projects that are both technically stimulating and beneficial to the planet. Below are just a few highlights from the past year.
In 2019, our involvement in fuel cell testing grew at an especially brisk pace. As the hydrogen economy grows and fuel cell vehicles become reality, we expect this trend to continue. Catalysis research also remained a strong focus for us, and the projects we’ve worked on have included efforts to develop cleaner fuels, make more environmental plastics, and much more.
Another exciting area for us in 2019 was the steady development of our sanitary series of regulators, including the single use version. These valves have proven to offer unique advantages for both flow control and pressure control. They are well suited for flow chemistry, gas chromatography, gradient elution, dosing, CIP, and membrane filtration, all important processes for developing vital new medications.
In the aerospace industry, our vacuum valves played a key role in the construction of the Orion spacecraft, which is part of NASA’s Artemis mission to the Moon and Mars. This is a dramatic example, but it is just one of the many ways we’ve been involved in this market.
As the year comes to a close, we remain hard at work, committed to finding ways to introduce Equilibar’s revolutionary technology to even more markets. If you have a question or idea about how to apply our frictionless precision control valves, please do not hesitate to contact one of our experienced application engineers.
Our team will be off on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day in order to enjoy the holidays among family and friends and to recharge for an action-packed new year.
All of us at Equilibar would like to send warm greetings to our customers and partners around the world. We look forward to exploring many new paths with you in 2020!
