From the beginning, Equilibar has been privileged to work with global customers on almost every continent. Today, close to half of our sales are international.
We feel extremely fortunate to be involved in cutting-edge multinational efforts, and it is gratifying to do our part to address global problems such as climate change and the shortage of clean drinking water. Our international connections have enriched our overall base of knowledge, and we have enjoyed getting to know a little bit about other cultures and viewpoints thanks to the business we do beyond our borders.
This summer, Equilibar did several things to strengthen our global connections even more.
We enjoyed hosting YH International at our headquarters in Western North Carolina. YH is helping introduce customers in Korea to Equilibar and we look forward to working with them in the future.
In June, Equilibar president Jeff Jennings spent time with our two European distributors—Armand Bergsma of Pressure Control Solutions and Fred Buskowa of System C Instrumentation. There are many intriguing initiatives happening in Europe and it was good to see the outstanding work our distributors are doing there.
Also in June, Ryan Heffner, design engineer, traveled to China and Taiwan to visit several customers who have exciting new applications for our innovative pressure control technology. Below are a few pictures of our signature back pressure regulator as it visited famous landmarks such as the Great Wall of China.
Equilibar looks forward to building on these relationships and forging even more international partnerships in the future.
